Welcome to Operation TRAP

TRAP stands for Trap Return, And Provide. It is the same as TNR-Trap Neuter Return. Our goal is to reduce the overpopulation that leads to more than 8 million cats and dogs euthanized each year. WE ARE the FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE in WEST MICHIGAN.

WE BELIEVE all animals have a RIGHT TO LIFE. But they don't need to reproduce. In fact, their lives are much improved by NOT reproducing. Animals who have been spayed/neutered live healthier lives. The concept of "just one litter" for even 10% of cats means more than 9 million extra animals needlessly killed over the course of 10 years. Cats go into heat within 4 months of age, and can be grandparents by the time they are 1 year old. Our goal is to spay and neuter every single cat that we can. We are the only non-profit actively pursuing prevention, as opposed to Adoption and Euthanasia.

We believe in quality care for the animals we trap. They are treated for fleas, earmites, and worms, any injuries are treated, and we return them to their lives with a good ear-cleaning. We know these animals will likely never see a veterinarian again, and we want to do right by them.

An unneutered male cat can impregnate 2,800 females PER YEAR. An unspayed female can give birth to over 150 kittens in her lifetime, and those cats and their offspring can realistically result in over 8,000 cats over 10 years. When was the last time you could save $8,000 lives with a donation of $70? Save lives and donate now!

Donations can be sent to Jandy's Home, P.O. Box 68045, Grand Rapids, MI 49516-8045 or can be made online at www.jandyshome.org using paypal.

THANK YOU!!
